Hi! Welcome to my blog. My name is Kati. Im a mother, wife, artist and your go-to girl for all things covered in smashed up fruit and drowned in caffein. I am the voice behind Love, Lullabies and Lattes, where I talk about the beauty and chaos of motherhood, the sweet messiness of marriage, and those everyday wins (like actually getting to drink my coffee while its warm)
I am a work-from-home mom, business owner, blogger and college student all wrapped into one messy, sometimes showered, crazy, forgetful human. I am still learning the ropes of motherhood and I am firm believer that bacon is a love language-but only if my husband makes it for me.
Once upon a time I was singing in dimly lit cafes about heartbreak but now my setlist consists of mostly Old Macdonald Had a Farm and Icky Sticky Bubble Gum. Every once in a while they might even let me sing Silent Night.
I grew up in The Bay Area, California (I promise it’s not as dreamy as it seems). Growing up I was a competitive all-star cheerleader, captain of my high school cheerleading team and almost-good-enough gymnast. I spent most of my late teens and early 20s hiking, wake skating, training at Ninja Warrior gyms and eating s*** on skateboards. I bounced around from job to job never fully feeling satisfied or happy until one day my best friend at the time convinced me to pack up everything I could fit in my beat down little Pontiac G5, load up my dog and hit the road. I didn’t realize at the time that I’d be saying goodbye to California forever but when I got to my destination and I stepped out of my car and I laid my eyes on the most handsome man I had ever seen in my life and well, the rest was history. Literally. We were in love within a week (although he’ll try to deny that) I moved in with him after 3 months, engaged at a year and a half and married before 2.
We had out first baby, a son, in 2021. Shortly after, in 2023, we packed up our things and our animals, sold our house and moved our lives to Florida to start a new adventure back where my husband spent the first 30 or so years of his life. In 2024 we welcomed our second, and last, baby. A perfect little girl that completed our family.
So I guess that leaves us here- 2025. I hope you stick around and watch this crazy little life of mine unfold and I hope my words bring you peace, laughter and a new understanding of marriage and motherhood.
